The Opportunity
This is a mid-level, quota-carrying sales role designed for high-performing insurance professionals.
As a Disability Insurance Specialist, you will:
- Work 100% inbound leads (no cold prospecting)
- Lead the client journey from scheduled consultation to placed policy
- Sell a full suite of income protection and life products
- Operate within a proven, high-converting sales process supported by marketing, technology, and in-house case management
This is a true production seat ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and wants to be among the top DI producers in the country.
Key Responsibilities
Selling & Closing
- Conduct scheduled consultations with inbound leads who have expressed interest in coverage
- Lead consultative conversations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate income protection solutions
- Close business across disability insurance, critical illness, accident expense, and life products
- Guide clients through the application process from start to submission
- Drive monthly performance against submitted and in-force premium targets
Case Design & Illustrations
- Run and present illustrations across multiple carrier partners
- Structure cases for complex disability insurance scenarios (own-occ, riders, benefit design, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal case management to optimize placement
CRM & Sales Operations
- Accurately document all client interactions, pipeline activity, and follow-ups in Salesforce
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management to ensure no opportunity is missed
- Utilize tools such as Dialpad and Salesloft to manage communication and outreach
Lead Follow-Up & Continuous Improvement
- Re-engage aged or undecided leads to convert additional opportunities
- Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging, and sales process improvements
- Contribute insights to refine scripts, workflows, and best practices

What You Bring
- 2+ years of insurance sales experience (DI, life, health, or related products)
- Active Life & Health insurance license
- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying sales role
- Strong closing ability and confidence in asking for the business
- Deep or developing knowledge of disability insurance products and carriers
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients
- High level of organization and discipline in managing a sales pipeline
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
